Short-Term Training Program for Teachers of the Japanese-Language

Japan Foundation

An intensive two-month course in Japanese language and teaching methods.  This program is designed to provide foreign teachers of Japanese-language, who have at least two years of experience in teaching Japanese language, with an opportunity to improve their Japanese language skills and teaching methodology and to cultivate their ability to understand other cultures. The program offers two courses (Summer Course and Winter Course).

1 December 2017 application deadline. Two courses offered: Summer Course: 26 June 2018 – 20 August 2018 [tentative] and Winter Course: 9 January 2019 – 5 March 2019 [tentative]
Australian Japanese-language teachers with more than two years of teaching experience. Applicants must be 55 years or under with JLPT Level N4 language skills.

The AJBCC’s objective is to raise the profile of Japan, promote and increase business opportunities and strengthen ties between Australia and Japan for the benefit of Members as well as the broader community.
