Program for Specialists in Cultural and Academic Fields

Japan Foundation

This program is designed to provide specialists (researchers, postgraduate students, librarians, museum curators, etc.) who need a good command of the Japanese language to conduct fieldwork and research through an intensive residential training course on the Japanese language. Two and six month courses are available.

1 December 2017 application deadline for: a) Two-month course: From June 2018 to August 2018 b) Six -month course: From October 2018 to April 2019
Applicants should currently be active as a researcher, postgraduate student, librarian, or museum curator in the fields such as Social Sciences and Humanities, and their work/project should be related to Japan. Applicants must be under 40 years with JLPT Level N4language skills.

The AJBCC’s objective is to raise the profile of Japan, promote and increase business opportunities and strengthen ties between Australia and Japan for the benefit of Members as well as the broader community.
