Australia-Japan Youth Dialogue (AJYD)

Australia, Japan
Programs
Australia–Japan Youth Dialogue Limited

The Australia–Japan Youth Dialogue is an independent and non-partisan diplomatic initiative dedicated to strengthening the future leadership of the bilateral relationship.  The inaugural Dialogue took place over four days in Melbourne in July 2017, bringing together 20 of the best and brightest young Australian and Japanese professionals for an engaging policy and ideas exchange. The second Australia-Japan Youth Dialogue will take place in Tokyo in November 2019. As the main Dialogue event is held each year, alongside supporting activities, the AJYD alumni group will grow into a cross-sectoral network of key young people engaged in the relationship and invested in its future.
